AbstractHistoryArchive Description

This novel begins in late nineteenth-century Ireland and incorporates the trials and dramas of several generations of a family. The main action revolves around the seventy-fifth birthday celebrations of the family's matriarch who lives on an Australian outback station, and the drama of a stolen inheritance.
