When the Childer Come Home When the Children Come Homei"On a lonely selection far out in the West", Henry Lawson , single work poetry (p. 2)
Note:

With title: When the Childer Come Home

Ascribed to: Exchange

The ascription Exchange may allude to the fact that the poem was taken from another journal possibly in 'exchange' for a poem from The Worker. The editor may not have recognised When the Childer Come Home as being by Lawson. Several other poems on the AustLit database from late nineteenth century Australian newspapers and periodicals are ascribed Exchange. The author or authors are unknown.
