AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Meston tells of how two young women, Nooneonya and Wiannmal, fell in love with Calboonya at a corrobbee. Calboonya asked for and received permission to marry Nooneonya but then ran off with Wiannmai. The desire for retribution led to private battles and then a tribal war.
