Series of letters between Louisa Lawson and NSW Minister for Justice, Deputy Postmaster General and others with editorial commentary by Lawson. Lawson invented and patented a buckle and fastener used particularly on mail bags. Her patent was subsequently breached and legal proceedings entered into from which she emerged with sole patent, ill health and small recompense.
