AbstractHistoryArchive Description
A Prayer for Blue Delaney follows the outback adventures of orphaned Colm, who runs away
from the cruelties of Bindoon Boys' Home in Western Australia and goes in search of a family
of his own. He crosses the wide outback through his travels, from the Western Australian gold
fields (where he stays with an Aboriginal-Australian family) to Melbourne (where Colm is
introduced to the theatre scene and the exciting Olympic Games).
