AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Katrina Strickland reports on a discussion paper prepared by Rodney Hall for the Australian Labor Party (ALP). The paper, 'Give Wings to the Arts : A New Model for Arts Funding', was commissioned by Bob McMullan with the aim of stimulating progressive policy thinking in the ALP. Hall believes that too much money is being paid to bureaucrats while insufficient funds are finding their way to struggling artists.
