'In her column on Saturday Angela Shanahan had originally written that author Helen Garner, in researching for her book Joe Cinque's Consolation, had made attempts to contact Anu Singh, directly and via her family. Shanahan had written that the Singhs and Anu did not cooperate. This was changed by a sub-editor to suggest that the Cinque family had not cooperated........'
