Little is known about the dramatic writing of George Essex Evans. However he did write for the Brisbane stage at least twice, in 1891 and 1892. This article focuses on the Brisbane theatre scene in the 1890s including pantomimes (written by Evans) which were reviewed in the Courier Mail at that time.
