'Skipping on Stars uses circus skills, along with narration from Noel Tovey, some audio/visual material and a driving musical accompaniment to tell the fascinating story of Con Calleano - dubbed the Wizard of the Wire - a world famous high wire artist. The show was written by playwright Stephen Sewell and is an exploration of Calleano's development as a performer and his life in the circus, as well as his attempt to hide the fact that he was in fact aboriginal at a time when being aboriginal was something that he was made to feel shame over.'
