'A mass protest meeting will be held at the Workers' Hall, 34 Bay St., Rockdale, on Thursday, June 14, at 8 p.m., against the attempt to railroad Comrade Jean Devanny to gaol under the Crimes Act.... A broad united front platform has been arranged, and it is hoped that a representative "Jean Devanny Defence Committe" will be set up.'
