'Thirteen year old Christina knows that something weird is happening. For two years her town has been suffering a deep freeze - even in summer it snows. And there are the fires, breaking out everywhere, destroying the town. When Christina learns about her dead grandfather and how he stole precious artefacts from a temple in Japan, she realises that the town is under a curse.'
