The Central Land Council, who has the responsibility for the protection of the interests of traditional land owners in the southern part of the Northen Territory, has requested that this book be withdrawn from sale. Acting on behalf of the traditional owners of Uluru, it is claimed that the book Bromley Climbs Uluru, contains pictures that are a misuse of images of Uluru.
