AbstractHistoryArchive Description

The Conference discussed bias in textbooks, the mass media and the portrayal of the migrant in adult and children's fiction. Included were two papers on the depiction of the Australian Aboriginal in fiction. Issues and policies in publishing were also discussed and recommendations made.
