AbstractHistoryArchive Description

When English schoolboy Peter's father dies suddenly, Peter and his ten-year-old brother Jasper are orphaned. But their father has left little money - certainly not enough for both boys to go to Tembourne, the school Peter attends and Jasper has set his heart on. Peter decided to leave school and head for Australia. He travels to Western Australia and works as a pearler.
