AbstractHistoryArchive Description
The Somerville's normally nomadic existence is interrupted by Mr Somerville's ill-health which means during their annual visit to Dragon Bay, they are forced to stay in a boarding house instead of camping out. It marks the beginning of a strange and eventful year in which Lesley and Rae make new friends, begin to grow up and fulfil ambitions. It is also a year in which the whole family has to adapt to some surprising and not always welcome changes.
