When Rex Oliver Neptune, a techno-scientific whiz, becomes his own electromagnetic science experiment, he is sucked into the mobile phone and is transformed into a mass of energy, an electromagnetic traveller, on a fibreoptic superhighway. He becomes the R.O.N. If Rex cannot locate the correct scientific data to help him retransform he could become trapped for eternity.
