AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Kwork Kwork is a collection of Dreamtime stories from various storytellers and tribes throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory. The fifteen short stories, usually only one page, are illustrated by three different illustrators. Stories include Kwork kwork the Green Frog from the Tiwi people of the Northern Territory, which explains why the Tiwi people revere the green tree frog; and The River which was made from Tears about how the Giddys River near Yirikala in the Northern Territory was made.(Source: Tripod website)
