AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A Romani woman kidnaps the daughter of the man who killed her bushranger husband. For many years they travel and perform with a circus troupe. On the girl's twenty-first birthday the Romani woman returns to the town where the bereaved father lives to take her final revenge, but she is foiled by a young doctor who falls in love with the girl.
