Slate, home from Vietnam, and his younger brother Wyn, rob a Mowbray bank, and abduct a convent schoolgirl witness after Wyn kills a policeman. The brothers fall out over the girl, who proves to have resources neither man suspected in one so apparently vulnerable. (Source: LibrariesAustralia)
