AbstractHistoryArchive Description
'Olympe de Gouges, known as 'Fury', was actress, playwright and outspoken critic of the Great Men of the French Revolution. Two hundred years later, Alice is to play the role of Olympe in a theatre production. Fascinated by their physical similarity and by their spiritual affinity, Alice embarks on her own crusade to rescue Olympe from the undeserved obscurity of history.'

Author's note: ' The characters from the past are all drawn very closely from historical sources (yes, even the girl who wiggles her bum outside Versailles).'
