She soon uncovers a long-buried case that implicates her police officer father as an accessory to police corruption. Thirty five years of denial and guilt have left heavy scars beneath the skin of the family and she has to decide whether to pursue an investigation that will bring disgrace upon her father and possibly destroy her mother.
