— Appears in: Margin , July-August no. 39 1996; (p. 40) During the Federation Period in Australia, 897 unsolicited manuscripts arrived on the doorstep at Angus and Robertson of Sydney and only 11 were accepted. A further 74 were published by other publishers with 23 of these published in Great Britain.
