Interviews which "developed out of a series which began in Makar in 1973 and ended (along with the journal) in 1980. Six of these fifteen interviews were published in Makar during that period. The other nine are published here for the first time .... I have ... avoided tampering with the previously published interviews in any but the most minor way." (Introduction)
