AbstractHistoryArchive Description
'After the death of their father, two brothers are sent to Norfolk Island penal colony where their uncle is the commandant. Here they find a family friend who had the misfortune of being transported as a convict and with whom they conspire to effect his escape.
Interwoven in the story is a good representation of what life was like for both convicts and settlers in the early Australian colonies.' (Source: Library Thing)
