BiographyHistory

Eddy Burger is a Melbourne-based writer of experimental poetry, fiction, plays, zines and work that combines art with text. His writing has appeared in local and overseas journals, and on spoken word CDs. He has featured at many literary events and is a former winner of the Melbourne Fringe Festival's Spoken Word Award.

Many of Burger's stories are illustrated and he dabbles in visual and concrete poetry. Although his style and subjects vary he frequently concerned with subverting notions of normality and promoting difference, portraying the collision of modern-day concerns through confused visions of the world.
