BiographyHistory

Despite wanting to be a vet, choreographer, card shark, hairdresser and interior designer (although not all at once!) British born Aussie bred Paula ended up as a personal assistant, office manager, software trainer and aerobics instructor for thirteen interesting years, which co-incidentally funded her extensive travel through Europe and the US. Even through all that, she continued to write stories. After fifteen years of honing her craft, submission setbacks and entering over 80 writing contests, Paula’s first book, Forgotten Marriage, was published in November 2007. She was a finalist in Romance Writers of Australia’s Romantic Book of the Year 2008 with Boardrooms & A Billionaire Heir – part of the six-book Diamonds Down Under continuity - and is thrilled to be writing full time.

Paula was the winner of the Australian Romance Readers Association’s Favourite Short Category Romance 2009 award with The Magnate’s Baby Promise.”

Paula lives in western NSW with her family and two opinionated white cats. She still retains a deep love of filing systems, stationery and travelling, even though the latter isn’t nearly as often as she’d like.
