Brian McCoy has been involved in projects funded by the Cooperative Research Centre for Aboriginal Health at Latrobe University and James Cook University. He has been an Honorary Fellow at the Centre for Health and Society at Melbourne University. McCoy has held a position as Honorary Research Fellow with the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research. He has also been a Research Fellow with the Centre for Sex, Health and Society, at Latrobe University.
