BiographyHistory

Before coming to Australia, Reineria Garrido Quintero studied nursing in Santiago, Chile. In Australia she worked as a nurse until, being injured in an automobile accident, she was unable to continue her employment. She began writing poetry in 1997 and joined the literary group Palabras in 1998.
