BiographyHistory

Puncher & Wattman was established by David Musgrave (q.v.) and is an 'independent publisher of quality Australian writing. Founded in 2005, Puncher & Wattmann aims to publish creative and critical books which might not reach the public through other, more accessible channels: poetry, challenging or experimental novels, criticism and theoretical works ... Puncher & Wattmann is independent from academic institutions and other arts bodies. Its aim is simple: to put into print those works which deserve a wider reading public, filling a gap that is not met by current [2005] publishing practices in Australia.'
