BiographyHistory

'Five Star Publishing, an imprint of Macmillan Library Reference, debuted in 1995 with its first four Western titles. In October 1996, Five Star launched the hardcover romance series and in June 1999, the new First Edition Romances with four titles began.

In March 1998, Five Star Christian Fiction was launched and in November 1998, the Five Star Mystery Series began. In August 1999, Five Star Publishing became an imprint of Thomson Gale.

In 2003, Five Star combined the Original Romance and the Women's Fiction Series to create the new Expressions Series.
