BiographyHistory

Chen Mingdao graduated from The Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing in 1954. He worked at several musical organisations in China before migrating to Singapore in 1992. He became an Australian citizen in 1998. He published his first essay in 1957 and since then has continued to publish essays, short stories and music commentaries in China, Singapore and Australia.
