Eureka : Our Story 2004 single work musical theatre 'Eureka : Our Story' tells of the real-life Irish miner Peter Lalor, a central figure at the rebellion on the Ballarat goldfields in 1854, and his partners at the diggings. The musical is set on the Ballarat gold fields - at Bakery Hill, the Gravel Pits, the Eureka dig, the Chinese quarter and the Eureka Hotel - and in Melbourne at Government House and the Great Exhibition Building.
