BiographyHistory

Sue Walker is the author of numerous books for children. Her title Tilly's Treasure is part of the award-winning Aussie Nibbles series, and Best Friends is a Children's Book Council, Notable Book. Many of Walker's poems, articles and stories have appeared in children's magazines and some of her books have featured in the New South Wales Premier's Reading Challenge.

In the past, Walker has worked in a bank, a school, a bookshop, and a cemetery. As a writer, she works from a studio in her backyard in Sydney, where she lives with her husband and three children.

In addition to the books listed on AustLit, Walker has written stories for Blake Education's Gigglers and Sparklers series, including The Face Painters, What's behind the Bin, Treasure in the Sand and Zara's Solution.
