Born in Iran, Nikouseresht migrated to Australia at the age of 10. He has been involved in theatre as a writer, actor and musician. In 2002 he received an Australia Council grant (Government Iniatives - theatre category) to write and produce 'There Is Nothing Here', which was performed at La Mama theatre in Melbourne.
