BiographyHistory

Mark Ryan was educated at St Paul's College, Adelaide and Caritas College, Port Augusta. In the early 1980s he worked as a journalist for The Advertiser (Adelaide) and The Sun (Melbourne). In 1984 he joined the staff of Victorian Premier, John Cain and from 1988-1994 he worked first as press secretary and later as senior political adviser to Paul Keaing.
