BiographyHistory

Valanga Khoza was born in the Limpopo Province of South Africa and grew up in a traditional household. Active in protests against apartheid, he spent time in refugee camps in Swaziland and Mozambique, before moving first to the United States and then Australia.

He is also a musician, playing instruments including drums, kalimba, and marimba.
