BiographyHistory

Carol Altmann worked for Messenger newspapers and was State Political Reporter for the Adelaide Advertiser until 1997. In 2000 she became the Adelaide Bureau Chief for The Australian in South Australia and transferred to Tasmania in 2002 where she was Bureau Chief in Hobart. Her non-fiction works include After Port Arthur (2006). Carol Altmann also worked as a freelance journalist and lectured in journalism at Monash University, Victoria, Gippsland campus.
