BiographyHistory

Diana Carew-Reid is a self-taught writer and artist. Her public identification as belonging to the Garadjari people of North Western Australia has been contested by members of the Aboriginal community. Diana Carew-Reid's search for her identity and life experiences are recorded in the autobiography She Thought She Was An Ugly Duckling, When All Along She Was A Black Swan.
