BiographyHistory

David Michie was educated in Zimbabwe and then at Rhodes University, South Africa where he graduated with a degree in English literature and psychology. He moved to London in 1988 and spent ten years working in public relations at executive and consultant levels. Michie has written Invisible Persuaders (1998) about consumer awareness as well as several books on Buddhism and meditation. Buddhism for Busy People (2004) describes his 'encounter with Tibetan Buddhism' and Enlightenment to Go (2010) 'illuminates the world's first self-help book - an 8th century text by the Buddhist sage Shantideva'.
