Publisher of "higher-priced" paperbacks (DLB). Publishes fiction and non-fiction. Lower priced reprints done by Meridian Books which separated in 1956; Meridian has since become a subsidiary of World Publishing Company. Farrar, Straus and Cudahy purchased Noonday in 1960.
