BiographyHistory

Mary Shepard was a British illustrator who illustrated the Mary Poppins books for more than fifty years. She was the daughter of the illustrator E. H. Shepard (who illustrated The Wind in the Willows and Winnie-the-Pooh), and graduated from the Slade School of Art.
