BiographyHistory

Tony Oliver was an illustrator with a special interest in the accurate illustration of plant and animal life. He graduated from Bournemouth College of Art and worked in advertising before he emigrated to Australia.

Oliver illustrated over forty children's book and taught at the University of Western Sydney. He also worked with the Australian Geographic magazine and illustrated some of its wildlife calendars.

Oliver received awards from the Childrens' Book Council of Australia and the Royal Zoological Society.
