Christopher Milne was educated at Chadstone Park Primary School, Melbourne High and graduated from Monash University with an Honours degree in Civil Engineering. After briefly working as an engineer, Milne developed a greater interest in the theatre and acting. He has worked in varying capacities on a number of Australian television productions, including scriptwriting for Neighbours and Prisoner. Milne's writing for children grew out of the bedtime stories he created for his own sons.
