BiographyHistory

William Edward Vincent was a journalist and newspaper proprietor. He was the grandson of William Edward Vincent and the nephew of Arthur Edward Vincent. He spent his early life working at the Glen Innes Examiner, which his father, Henry Cleave St. Vincent, established in 1874. In the later 19th and earlier 20th centuries, he became a well known New South Wales country press figure, and at one point was a provincial press delegate.
