BiographyHistory

Odhams Press Limited was founded in London in 1920, by the merger of a long-standing printing firm and a magazine company. The printing and publishing of magazines continued to be an important part of the business, but the firm also developed a general list which included literary fiction and biography. Odhams Books Ltd, established as a subsidiary in 1964, became part of the International Publishing Company in 1966, where it continued as an imprint.
