BiographyHistory

Chip Rolley was raised in El Paso, Texas, and studied in New York before working in advertising and marketing on various magazines. Rolley moved to Australia in 1993 and worked as a freelance journalist. He has been active in the Sydney PEN writers' association and, in 2009, was appointed for one year as the guest artistic director of the Sydney Festival.
