BiographyHistory

Corinne Kerby was a well-known broadcaster, television personality and civil rights activist. She began her television career in 1956 on the ABC with the telecast of the Melbourne Olympic Games. Kerby began writing poetry privately in 1950, but her first known publication was Mainly Affirmative in 1968.

Kerby was married to Oscar Whitbread and they had three children.
