BiographyHistory

Rinehart and Company was founded by Stanley Rinehart after John Farrar resigned from Farrar and Rinehart; the company retained the titles and series. In 1959 Rinehart and John Winston Company and Henry Holt and Company combined to form Holt, Rinehart and Winston. .
