BiographyHistory

Aboriginal Nations Australia was an independent animation company that aimed to employ and train Aboriginal artists as animators. They produced a series of Dreaming stories selected from different Aboriginal communities across Australia.

Aboriginal Nations Australia was also responsible for developing the Aboriginal Nations Cultural Protocol, to ensure copyright was retained by the communities providing the stories. The protocol was endorsed by the NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG) Inc. and World Indigenous Peoples Conference: Education (1996), as well as UNICEF, and is still used today.
