BiographyHistory

Andrew McDonald has lived in England, Italy and California and taught English after arriving in Australia. In 1968 he was the recipient of a Literature Board grant and in 1979 he won the Ian Mudie Award. He has edited subtitles for SBS TV and has written a number of works for radio, including the documentary, 'Her Dying Days', a meditation on his mothers' passing, which was broadcast on Radio National on 22 February 1988.
